Bartow Art Guild

ABOUT US

Bartow Art Guild, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that was founded in 1959 and incorporated in 2022. Beginning as a group of artists gathering to paint, the Guild now embraces all art mediums. We are  dedicated to nurturing public awareness and appreciation of the creative arts and encouraging artistic expression in the local community. From art exhibits to classes, festivals, and public art installations, our members and community partners bring their love of the arts to Bartow and its surrounds.

As our membership grows, so does the wide variety of art we are able to exhibit in our gallery and teach in our dedicated classroom. Workshops, classes, and lectures bring experienced artists forward to share their knowledge and help others find the medium that best fits them. Each month brings a new featured exhibition to our gallery, giving the community ample opportunities to learn, explore, and appreciate the arts. Our gallery is open every Saturday from 10am to 4pm, plus we hold a reception for each exhibit on the second Monday from 6pm to 8:30 pm. Our free exhibits are family friendly and open to the public.

Bartow Art Guild founded the Bloomin’ Arts Festival in 1971 and has hosted it every year since. Held on the first full weekend of March, this festival attracts visitors from across the country to celebrate local arts and fine crafts, enjoy live music, and experience the small-town charm of our community.
