“Student Showcase”

At Bartow High School

The paintings of award-winning artist Christine Eckerfield have been exhibited in galleries and

museums throughout the United States, including the Tampa Museum of Art in Tampa, Florida;

the Florida Museum for Women Artists in Deland, Florida; the Museum of Fine Arts in

Springfield, Massachusetts; the San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands, California; the Fort

Walton Beach Art Museum in Fort Walton Beach, Florida; the Longboat Key Center for the Arts

in Longboat Key, Florida; and the Donna Gordon Gallery in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Eckerfield is a recipient of the Pinellas County Arts Council Grant for Individual Artists in

Clearwater, Florida. In addition, her work is included in private and corporate collections,

including those of Energy Insurance Mutual Limited, Ernst and Young, McDonald and Company

Securities and Marriott. Eckerfield received a BFA and MFA from Kent State University.
