Folk Gourd Art with Cindi Edwards

"I moved to Bartow in February 2011. 7 years ago, while living in eastern Kentucky , I knew nothing about gourds until a friend brought me some seeds and I started growing them. I found a book and, through trial and error, taught myself to craft them. I like to keep my decorations minimal so that the unique patterns formed in the drying process show through."
